Just wanted to post an update about how things went yesterday....We checked in around 2pm to the surgery center where Dr. B does HSGs. I was taken back pretty quickly into one of the radiology rooms where I met Dr. B. He asked how I was feeling and if I was nervous at all. Considering that this HSG was the least worst thing I've had done with him, I was feeling pretty good!
The HSG wasn't too painful-it was nothing like the pain I experience with my first HSG two years ago! This was most likely due to the fact that I had taken some prescription painkillers left over from surgery this time around. They recommended 600mg of ibuprofen prior to my appointment, but I thought 700mg of Oxycodone sounded better ;)
Since we only had one tube to work with, it was over before I knew it. Turns out my tube was "mildly" blocked. Thankfully he was able to push some extra dye through to help unblock it, so he thought that everything should be ok moving forward. I was sooo relieved that the tube looked healthy and for the most part, unblocked. I have no idea what we would have done if it was damaged.
Dr. B said considering all that we've been through this year, he was happy to give us some good news to end the year with. And we were more than happy to have some good news! We chatted with him a little bit about moving forward and all three of us agreed that starting IUI#4 in mid-January was the plan. Yay!
So that's all for updates. Signing off until after Christmas....hope you all have a wonderful holiday! :)

I have a good feeling about IUI #4! glad the HSG wasn't too bad. I'm thinking a 800mg Advil and an anti-anxiety pill may be my Pre-appointment cocktail. Happy holidays to you & DH. Xoxoxo
Glad you got some good news!
Wonderful news! I'm excited to see what God has in store for 2013 for you. :)
I'm so glad things went well! I hope you had a merry Christmas and I'll be praying for IUI #4!
