A Much Needed Distraction

So I went to my acupuncture appointment this morning. My acupuncturist felt my pulse (she always does, apparently your pulse can tell you a lot about what's going on with your body) and immediately said "wow, this is the strongest your pulse has ever been. You must still have the hcg trigger in your body." I told her I had tested out my trigger shot and the hcg was out of my body by Monday. "Oh, well then you must be pregnant. Hcg is the only reason for what I'm feeling...." 

GAH!! Lady please....don't go getting my hopes up like that! It's hard enough to have to wait these 2 weeks out on my own...I don't need you instilling crazy hope into me!

I think she realized she was getting my hopes up, because she started back peddling a bit, saying "oh well it might also be the progesterone or something like that that I'm feeling maybe..." I'm only 8 days past my IUI, so it's waaaay too early to test. Man the rest of this 2 week wait is going to kill me! Thankfully my new camera arrived yesterday, which is a pretty awesome distraction! ;-)

I've been waiting for years for Canon to come out with a camera like this one! Previously I had the 5d and 5dmkII. Both were nice, but the auto-focussing system was atrocious. I thought the 5dmkII might have a better AF system than the 5d, but no such luck. So finally, Canon listened to their customers and made a camera in the 5d series with a 61-point AF system. YES! I jumped on this as soon as I could. It was backordered for a long time, but it finally shipped and I got it yesterday! Hooray!
